RIDE ON YOUR SIDE. Looks like the grooming will be shut down for the next few days with all the warm temperatures and rain on the way. Sometime Sunday night some scumbag stole the chainsaw and lightbar off the 2009 BR180 that was broke down in the Munn Road area, just a heads up you left your camo glove behind and the RCMP are now looking for you, better hope you’re not in the DNA data base. Yesterday afternoon and last night trails 512, 515, 520, 521, 522, 523, 525, 529 and 52 North and 42 South were groomed. Also last night Alan groomed all South Side trails with the exception of 21 to Black River as it started to rain and he decided not to make a mess of the trail as wet snow doesn’t go through the drag very well. Our fundraiser supper will be Thursday, March 5th at the Halcomb Moose Barn, you will need to book your tickets in advance 836-2416 or contact Bobby Norton or Paul Barry, roast beef with all the trimmings, tea, coffee and dessert, 6:30 pm, you can find them at the end of trail 517 or you can drive up, they are located at 1100 Halcomb Road. This supper is sponsored by Rae’s Trailer and Sports Center. Get Out and Enjoy Your Trails.
