Trail Conditions

April 15th, 2018 ~ -8º

Here we are at the last day of the season and the conditions are like mid March. Last night Jamie groomed to the headpond and is still on the trail at post, it’s very unusual to be grooming this late in the season. Only one bad spot in the trail, just before Gordon Meadow Brook, but there is a detour around it. We would like to thank all of our operators for all the hard work they put in for the club, also want to send a big thank you to all of our volunteers, our club wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for you and last but certainly not least we would like to thank our sponsors who provide necessary funding to make the trails happen. This year we will have groomed the most hours in club history (over 1200), which is hard to believe with all the crazy weather we had this winter. Once again thank you to all who made this season a success, until next season be safe and enjoy the summer.

April 12th, 2018 ~ -3º

There was no grooming yesterday and looking forward we may get one more chance to get some grooming done if the nigh temperatures stay on the minus side in the -7 to -10 range. We had our zone meeting last night with the federation and there was some great discussion on changes coming next season… Continue Reading

April 11th, 2018 ~ -9º

The trail conditions for this time of year are incredible, there will be enough snow to ride in May this year unless we get some very warm days in the next few weeks. Last night the wood for the barren shelter was delivered and thanks to Aaron, Kevin, Ethan and Devon for helping out, sure… Continue Reading
