Our Base Keeps Growing!!

February 26th, 2019 -14º If we keep getting big storms like this we will have three feet of trail base. This certainly has been an old fashioned winter as the Farmers Almanac had predicted. We probably received around 39cm this time around. Last night Alan groomed trail 21 to 52 South then out to Barnaby also picked up 52 North to the Miramichi Bridge then back to home base. Yesterday Connor groomed 52 North to the headpond but on his way in the machine started to act up and as it stands right now we have both machines down on the Northside. Hopefully it’s just something minor otherwise we will be needing help from neighbouring clubs to get our trails groomed up. Our club appreciation Weenie Roast will be March 9th this year at the Barren shelter from Noon to 4 pm, also this year there will be a 50/50 for the Cory Tucker Memorial Run with all proceeds going to a new shelter for trail 517, location to be determined later.
