Cold Night!!

January 3rd, 2019 -24º This cold weather will help with the trails set up after being groomed. Yesterday Alan groomed the Southside trails from Carstar Trail 21 then 52 South to Barnaby, back and out to the river on 52 North, he reported that someone was on the trail during the meltdown and rutted the trail up very badly in the Vye Lane area, please stay off the trail with your trucks, this makes for very unsafe conditions for snowmobilers (what is wrong with people, common sense isn’t very common). Jamie groomed on the Northside trails 52 south to the river then back and out to the Anderson Bridge on 42 South, he had to fix a temporary bridge at the beaver dam in behind the traffic circle, then on the way back had some mechanical issues, which we will hopefully have fixed today. Yesterday Ron installed a new battery for the lights in the Barren shelter, hopefully nobody steals this one. We made the earlybird draw for our Lotto ticket campaign yesterday and the winner of $500.00 is Ralph “Rat” Regan, congratulations. Get Out And Enjoy Your Trails.
