RIDE ON YOUR SIDE. What a great turnout for the “Avery Run 2020” huge crowds everywhere, hopefully they raised lots of money for this worthy cause. Looks like more snow on the way for today and tonight. 2009 BR180 made it back as far as Sunny Corner yesterday but stayed off the trail until the traffic slowed down. Last night 2017 Husky with Jamie at the helm groomed 52 North to the headpond. Also last night Alan groomed all Southside trails, yes he tramped all these trails the day before and the reason for this is all the drifting especially along open areas, we try not to get the groomer stuck if we can help it and the next day it gets groomed and turns out great, I was personally on those trails yesterday after they were tramped and they were just fine, not sure what all the fuss is about. Our fundraiser supper will be Thursday, March 5th at the Halcomb Moose Barn, you will need to book your tickets in advance 836-2416 or contact Bobby Norton or Paul Barry, roast beef with all the trimmings, tea, coffee and dessert, 6:30 pm, you can find them at the end of trail 517 or you can drive up, they are located at 1100 Halcomb Road. Our next monthly meeting will be Monday, March 2nd, 7:00 pm at the Beaverbrook Kin Centre. Get Out and Enjoy Your Trails.
