Some Good News!!

March 1st, 2019 -15º We keep trying to get the Southside trails groomed but the road blocks just keep coming, after Connor fixed the block heater and it warmed up for a while Alan got all ready to get going and when he moved the machine noticed that we have another bearing gone, so loaded it up and back to North Shore for a fix, that will be happening this morning and we will go from there, thanks for your patience folks. Yesterday Laurie finished up trails 515, 512, 521, lots of plowing so that means unhooking the drag and re-hooking multiple times, plus getting stuck a few times makes for a long day, big shout out again to the ATV Club for helping him out of a jam. When Laurie landed back at North Shore Bobby was ready to take over and he groomed 52 South to the Miramichi Bridge then back to 42 South to the Anderson Bridge, then headed to 517 where he’s presently 3 hours from the Halcomb’s Moose Barn, he reported many very large drifts and had to drop the drag multiple times, a very long run indeed. Good news the new Br180 is back in action again, hopefully this will help us get the trails back to decent shape. We will be having our Annual Weenie Roast on March 9th, 2019 from Noon til 4pm, please come and join us for some free burgers and dogs. In conjunction with this there will be a 50/50 draw in support of a Memorial Warming Shelter honouring Cory Tucker, this shelter will be erected on trail 517, location to be determined. Get Out and Enjoy Your Trails.
