Finally Some Progress!!

March 6th, 2019 -18º We are finally making some progress with our trail system. Yesterday Alan tramped and then groomed trail 21 to the junction of 52, then south to Barnaby River turned and back on 52 North to the Miramichi Bridge then back to home base at Kingston’s Petro, great progress. Yesterday Bobby and Jamie worked on the new BR180 and got it up and running, so Jamie got ready and left for the headpond, it took 11.5 hours one way, if you are out today he will be on the trail, give him a big thumbs up. Bobby and Ron (Energizer Bunny) continued to work on the old BR180 and made great progress, we have a part on the way and hopefully it will solve the remaining issues. Be patient, we will get the trails back to normal soon. We will be having our Annual Weenie Roast on March 9th, 2019 from Noon til 4pm at the Barren shelter, please come and join us for some free burgers and dogs. In conjunction with this there will be a 50/50 draw in support of a Memorial Warming Shelter honouring Cory Tucker, this shelter will be erected on trail 517, location to be determined. Get Out and Enjoy Your Trails.
