First off we would like to thank the Nepisiquit Sports Lodge for their generous support of our club, we had a great turnout for the supper last night with lots of prizes and we made $2652.00, but the story doesn’t end there, as our president Ron was getting ready to leave a person who is a great supporter of the Nepisiquit club approached him, handed him an envelope and thanked our club for doing a great job, in that envelope was a cheque for $1000.00 WOW, so we made a total of $3652.00. We would like to extend a very big thank you to this anonymous donor, as a volunteer this kind of gesture sure makes all the trials and tribulations over the course of a season all worth it, thank you once again. Yesterday was too warm to groom once Jamie arrived back from the headpond, so in the next day or so we will be cleaning all the local trails up. Last night John made an attempt to go to Black River but encountered a very large pile of snow that needed to be removed, so after this was taken care of he called it a night and will be back at it again tomorrow. Also be aware that this is the time of year when water crossings will start to open up and become unsafe so please be careful when using these crossings.Get out and enjoy your trails.
